(Summer 2014) Amazon, Research Scientist Intern, Inventory Planning & Control
- As part of the fulfillment optimization team within IPC, I completed two data science projects evaluating ways to reduce costs and improve efficiency in the way Amazon fulfills customer orders. My results were used to inform management decisions related to order fulfillment. I used Perl, SQL, Linux, and internal optimization tools to complete the projects.
(June 2010 – June 2012) Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Research Assistant, Orthopaedic & Arthritis Center for Outcomes Research (OrACORe)
- As part of the Osteoarthritis Policy (OAPol) team, I conducted decision analysis-based studies using a Markov chain Monte Carlo computer simulation model of the natural history, progression, and treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
